Hallway is done!

My dad was so kind enough to buy the rest of the wood flooring we needed to finish the hallway, just out of the blue, and Chris was able to finish it! It looks so much better!
I can't thank my dad enough for being so generous. We didn't even ask him. He just called us last weekend and said he was at Sutherlands buying the flooring & wanted to know the color we needed. So nice! Thanks dad! We're so grateful and lucky to have our family!

Chris had last Wednesday & Thursday off so that's when he put the flooring in. He did such a great job. Oh, I'm so excited about it! No more nasty carpet! At least not upstairs :) that's a different story...

mornings with Leah

I just have to say I love it when Leah wakes up and runs to give me a hug or a quick little cuddle in the morning! It's one of the best things about being her mommy. Seeing her with squinty eyes that are still adjusting to the light, and looking adorable in her jammies and saying in her sweet little voice 'morning mommy!' . I just love it!

I remember when she was a baby she never, ever woke up crying. Ever! She always woke up with the biggest smile on her face. When we moved her to her own room, when she would wake up she'd just yell out " mommy! Daddy!"
Chris and I loved it!
I love mornings with Leah.
