Getting closer and I love Leah Rose

We just signed some of the papers for the house we want to buy this morning!
I hate getting my hopes up, but it feels like we're getting closer and closer to
getting into our first house!!!

On a different note, Leah seems to feeling a little better. She got her appetite
back and has been running around all morning. Man, I love that little girl!!!
She really had blossomed into an amazing little girl!

- she is a perfectionist! She likes making sure things get
put away where they belong and will let you know if things
are out of place.
-she is so polite! We rarely have to reminde her to say her pleases and thank yous and your welcome.
- she loves playing with her cousins and asks everyday if
she's going to see them.
- she is a grandma and grandpa's girl to the core!
She insists on seeing them everyday and when she's
in trouble guess who she asks for??? Yep, grandma &
grandpa!
- she notices everything! You really can't get anything past
her.
- i love that every morning she wakes up she crawls into bed
with us and always greets us with "good morning mommy,
good morning daddy!"
- I love that she tells us she loves us and I live for her random
kisses.
I just adore her. I can't believe we are blessed enough to be her
parents! I am soooo grateful for her. For her love and even her sassy
little attitude.

Yeah, it's been a while!

I used to be so good at keeping up with my posts and now I'm lucky if I post a few a year! In my defense though, I have been really busy this year.

My little Leah Rose is sitting next to me fast asleep. She's had a rough day.
Poor thing has some sort of virus or something because she's been throwing up off and on all day and has had a fever. I don't what it is about the month of March and April that has all three of us sick every week?! Chris has a nasty cold, and I am suffering from a stupid UTI. Yuck...

My dad had surgery last Thursday to fix his HUGE hernia that he's had for a few years. My sister and I went with him, and man, it was terrible seeing him like that! He's never had to have surgery before in his life, so I felt really bad for him. He's recovering well. Even despite the fact that he didn't listen to the doctor and tried to work in his garden and do other things right after his surgery! We're just thankful that it went well and he is doing better!

On another note; we just may have found our house!!! Granted it's not our 'dream' house, but it's a house and we couldn't be more excited! It's been such a long and tedious process trying to find a house in our price range, close to my parents and just the right size. The one we're hoping to get needs work. But it's all things that can be done in time and Chris and I are willing to work hard and fix it up and make it ours. It's got 5 bedrooms two full baths and enough room for us :D

So other than work and everyday stuff, that's what's been going on lately.

Hopefully my posts will be less farther and fewer in between!
