Lilly vs nursery

Today as I dropped Lilly off at nursery she started screaming as if someone cut her arm off! It broke my heart into a million pieces. When the lady tried to pick her up Lilly ran away lol!

What was so precious was when I went to pick her up she jumped out of the lady's arm and was screaming momma momma and ran to me. It was sad and cute at the same time. I love that she missed me. Leah loved nursery and never cried, not once when we left her. She's such a people person. Lilly doesn't care for babies her age at all. She loved playing with the big kids. I love my girls.

Lilly is such a joy for us.... and a little bit of a challenge! She is so feisty and knows what she wants and when she wants it. She definitely likes doing things on her terms. Leah is so great with being patient with her.... most of the time.

I can't believe how big my sweet girl is getting! She's doing AMAZING in school. She's made honor roll twice and is in the top group of her class! She also actually enjoys doing her homework and can't wait to do it when she gets home.

She's made us so proud! Always has. I love my Leah Rose!

Valentine's (really belated)

This Leah's owl Valentine's box for school! So fun. We helped Lilly make a puppy but she hardly ever holds still long enough for me to take a picture of her that's not blurry. :(. Oh well. Happy belated Valentine's!

Leah has been doing great in school and has been loving kindergarten so far. She's doing great with reading and math, and then yesterday she came home with an award for being on honor roll! ( never mind the misspelling of her last name)

We're so proud of her! She's also received for certificates for free meals and such for achievements in school. Go Leah!

waiting game

Well, I went to my doctors appointment on Wednesday, and there was no change from before other than my cervix becoming a little softer. So my due date is on Tuesday and my next appt is Wednesday and my doctor said that if I don't have her by then, I will be induced on Friday!

I'm in such a place of shock! This pregnancy went by so much faster than it did with Leah's. We feel very unprepared and can't believe she'll be here by the end of next week!
We're so excited!

Hopefully the weather will be better too! Yesterday and Friday it was 70 degrees outside and today ( Sunday) we woke up to snow! April in Utah. Plus its conference weekend so, I guess it's fitting.

We're all pretty sick right now . Sore throats, fevers, coughing and running noses. So fun to try and deal with while trying to finish getting things ready for our Lilly's arrival!

So for now we're just playing rhe waiting game. It's going to be so interesting to see when I actually have her! Yay!

Hallway is done!

My dad was so kind enough to buy the rest of the wood flooring we needed to finish the hallway, just out of the blue, and Chris was able to finish it! It looks so much better!
I can't thank my dad enough for being so generous. We didn't even ask him. He just called us last weekend and said he was at Sutherlands buying the flooring & wanted to know the color we needed. So nice! Thanks dad! We're so grateful and lucky to have our family!

Chris had last Wednesday & Thursday off so that's when he put the flooring in. He did such a great job. Oh, I'm so excited about it! No more nasty carpet! At least not upstairs :) that's a different story...
